Function: Sr. Credit Analyst, Fleet Underwriter
Overview
ENGS Commercial Finance Co., a 60+ year commercial transportation finance company, is looking to hire a Sr. Credit Analyst/Fleet Underwriter to support its fast growing business. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, hard-working and represent our company in the highest manner possible. This candidate will have the ability to multi-task and interact with all internal and external clients.
Detailed Responsibilities Include
- Review applications for accuracy
- Underwrite transactions up to $10M and decision transactions up to $500k
- Underwrite and present transactions to senior management and credit committee
- Review, spread and analyze financials that would include discussing trends and ratio’s
- Review and analyze public information such as Dun & Bradstreet reports, Paynet reports, Secretary of State corporate name verifications, Safer reports, Credit Bureau reports etc…
- Call, fax or email for credit references
- Review existing customers for additional exposure
- Research industries, markets and equipment as requested
- Interact on the phone or via email with Sales, Operations and Collections departments
- Interact on the phone or via email with Dealers, Manufacturers and Clients
- Travel, when requested, to visit with Sales, Dealers, Manufacturers and Clients
Education or Experience Requirements
- 4 year Bachelor’s degree required with a major in finance or management preferred
- Minimum 3-years of commercial underwriting experience
- Ability to spread and analyze financial statements
